- Power Statements are 30 Second Summary on steroids that are purposely expanded beyond short and concise statements to further substitiate you background, interests and abilities..
- When evaulating a potenial employee, managers of most companies and organizationos ask themselves questions like the following.
- Will this person help my organization?
- Will this person fit in with others int he organization?
- How quickly can this persoon learn and demonstrate the necessary job resonsbilities?
- Below are some sample questions that often come up in interviews. They are grouped under headings that can prompt you how to answer them effectively. Think about how you would answer these questionos, and then include them in your Power Statements in you LDSJOBS.ORG Profil, but only where appropriate. .
- Answer Using Your Skills and Talents:
- If we called your last employer or previous business associates, what would be said about you?
- Tell me aboaut a time you made a major sacrifice to achieve a business goal or were able to build team spirit in a time of low morale.
- What are some of your strengths?
- Why should I give you a business loan? What should I use your service or company?
- I've interviewed people with more experience than you. Why should I hire you?
- If you are over 40 years of age, why should I hire you?
- Turn Potential Negatives into Positives
before the Employer Asks You These Negative Questions If You Should Have Some Limitations
- What is your biggest weakness?
- Why are you leaving your present work or business?
- Why did you leave your last work or business?
- Do have reliable transportation?
- Why have you been out of work for so long
- Your grades were not good in your last school. why should we admit you.
- Your business seems to be struggling. Why should we loan you money?
- Include Power Statements with statements that reaffirm your interests and abilities for the positions you are most interested in applying for. Answer With statements to match you with the job descriptions.
